Kansas State University’s College of Education is pleased to announce that the Kansas Board of Regents will fund Kansas Transitions to Teaching Fellowships ($6,000.00 – roughly 1/3 of the total tuition and fees) for admitted students from several areas in the state including Garden City. The fellowships will be applied to tuition/fees for Kansas State University’s Master of Arts in Teaching Program (MAT).
The MAT is an intensive, one-year, online degree specifically designed for people who have already earned a bachelor’s degree but want to pursue elementary teaching. Field experiences are arranged in an accredited school district – like Garden City Public Schools – near the student.
Application deadline is APRIL 1, 2017. Priority deadline for fellowships is MARCH 1, 2017.
If you want more information you may call the Garden City Public Schools Personnel Office at 620-805-7020, email (email@example.com), or visit the KSU website http://global.k-state.edu/education/mateaching.
