GCHS To Host State Robotics Competition

Garden City High School will host the state robotics competition on Saturday, March 4 for teams across the state that have advanced to the competition.  The contest will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the main gym at Garden City High School, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd.  The event is free and open to the public to attend.

There will be 24 elementary school teams and 24 middle school teams expected to compete in the Vex IQ robotics state championship.  Five elementary school teams and three middle school teams will qualify and advance to the world championship event.  The 2023 VEX Robotics World Championship will take place in Dallas, Texas this year.  The middle school competition will be held April 27-29.  The elementary school event will be held May 2-4.
