A number of music concerts are scheduled during the coming week at Garden City Public Schools. The free concerts are open to the public.
Charles Stones Intermediate Center will present a 5th and 6th grade band concert on Monday, May 1, in the cafeteria. The 5th grade band will perform at 5:30 p.m. and the 6th grade band will perform at 6:30 p.m.
Georgia Matthews Elementary School will present a school music concert at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2. The concert will be held in Clifford Hope Auditorium.
There will be a String-A-Palooza orchestra concert held on Tuesday, May 2, at 6:00 p.m. in the Horace Good Middle School gymnasium. Orchestra students from 5th and 6th grade and middle school will be performing during the concert.
Buffalo Jones Elementary School will present a first and third grade music concert at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, in the gym.
Bernadine Sitts Intermediate Center will present a 5th and 6th grade band concert on Thursday, May 4, in the cafeteria. The 5th grade band will perform at 5:30 p.m. and the 6th grade band will perform at 6:30 p.m.
Edith Scheuerman Elementary School will present a Kindergarten through second grade music concert at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, in the gym.
Jennie Barker Elementary School will present at first and third grade music program at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, in the gym.
The Garden City High School jazz band will present a concert on Thursday, May 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the GCHS Commons Area.
