Enrollment Event July 18 - 20

Garden City Public Schools will hold an enrollment event July 18 – 20 for parents to finalize their child’s enrollment for the 2023-24 school year. The event will take place at Horace J. Good Middle School, 1412 N. Main Street. 

Parents will finalize the enrollment of their child for the school year.  They will also have the opportunity to visit with several of the district’s departments to enroll or apply for additional services including transportation, nutrition, and migrant.  There will also be a fast track line for parents that have already completed the registration for the school year.

The event will be held Tuesday, July 18, from 12:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 20, from 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.   The event will be held in the Courtyard at Horace J. Good Middle School, 1412 N. Main Street.  

There will be community organizations at the event that will provide immunizations, physicals, and a lot more. There will also be Grab and Go meals available for students during the event. 

The first day of school is Tuesday, August 15, 2023.  It will be a half-day orientation for all students in kindergarten through fifth grade, seventh grade, ninth and tenth grades and all students new to Garden City Public Schools.  The first full day of school for Garden City Public Schools is Wednesday, August 16, 2023, when all classes will be in session for the start of the 2023-24 school year.
