The next meeting of the Garden City Public Schools Board of Education will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023. The meeting will be held at the Educational Support Center Board Room, 1205 Fleming Street.
The board will continue their discussion on a possible partnership between the district and the Little Leaders of GCK. They received a presentation on the Little Leaders of GCK and a proposed partnership between the district and the organization at the last board meeting.
Under new business, the board will consider committee assignments amongst the board members for the upcoming school year. They will look at Board Policy EBC, Security and Safety; discuss roof insurance claims; and receive an update on the projects that have been taking place at the school buildings during the summer.
The Board will hold an executive session after the completion of all other business. The executive session will be for matters involving confidential data relating to financial affairs or trade secrets of corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individual proprietorships.
