The Garden City Public Schools Educational Support Center, 1205 Fleming Street, will be changing its days of operation during the summer. The center will be closed on Friday afternoons during the summer starting the week of June 3rd and going to July 19, 2024. The center will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 - 5:00 p.m. The center will be open on Fridays from 8:00 – noon.
The first day of school for Garden City Public Schools is Wednesday, August 14, 2024. It will be a half-day orientation for all students in kindergarten through fifth grade, seventh grade, ninth and tenth grades and all students new to the district. The first full day of school is Thursday, August 15, 2024, when all classes will be in session for the start of the 2024-25 school year.
