The offices and facilities at Garden City Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The school district will resume regular business hours on Monday, July 8, 2024.
The district would like to remind residents that it is a violation of school district policy to possess or ignite fireworks on any school property. If you plan to celebrate Independence Day by setting off fireworks, know the dangers and take every safety precaution. The district encourages you to be sure to check local ordinances for other limitations on the use of fireworks in the community.
