Caitlin Sotelo, Autism Consultant and special education teacher at Garden City Achieve is a recipient of the 2024 Outstanding Educator of Students with Autism Award by the MSLBD Richard L. Simpson Conference on Autism. She will be recognized during the Lunch Program hosted at the Sixth Annual Richard L. Simpson Conference on Autism on Friday, October 4, 2024, in Overland Park, Kansas.
Ms. Sotelo is being recognized for her teaching career, educating, supporting, and improving the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. She has been a passionate and dedicated educator in the classroom and beyond. Ms. Sotelo excels as a teacher leader and innovator who supports other educators and staff in her building, district, and region working with students with ASD.
