State Robotics

Garden City High School will host the Kansas State VEX IQ Robotics Competition Championships, for the fifth year in a row, on Saturday, March 8 for teams across the state that have advanced to the competition.  The contest will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the main gym at Garden City High School, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd.  The event is free and open to the public to attend.

There will be 27 elementary school teams and 24 middle school teams expected to compete in the VEX IQ robotics state championship. Six spots will be awarded to represent Kansas in the world championships in Dallas in May. The 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship will take place May 6 -14, 2025 in Dallas, Texas.
