Board of Education Approves 2026-2027 School Calendar

The Board of Education approved the 2026-2027 school calendar at the March 3 meeting. A morning session of school will be held for elementary, fifth, seventh, ninth and tenth grades and students new to the district on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. The first day of school for all students is Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Some key dates on the calendar include:

August 4^th – 6^th – Orientation for new teachers
August 7^th - 10^th – Inservice for all teachers
August 11^th – Workday for all teachers
August 12^th – Morning class only for elementary, fifth, seventh, ninth and tenth grades and students new to the district, teacher workday in the afternoon
August 13^th – First full day of school for all students
September 7^th – Labor Day observed no school
September 28^th – Teacher inservice
October 12^th – Teacher inservice in the morning and teacher workday in the afternoon
October 22^nd and 23^rd – Parent Teacher Conferences
November 23^rd – 27^th – Fall vacation
December 18^th – Teacher inservice
December 21^st – January 1^st – Winter vacation: school is not in session
January 4^th – Teacher workday
January 5^th – Teacher inservice
January 6^th – School resumes
January 29^th – New teacher inservice
February 15^th – Teacher inservice in the morning and teacher workday in the afternoon
February 25^th and 26^th – Parent Teacher Conferences
March 15^th – 19^th – Spring Break
March 26^th – Spring Vacation
March 29^th – New teacher inservice
April 16^th – Teacher inservice
May 15^th – Graduation weekend
May 20^th – Last day of school
May 23^rd – Teacher workday in the morning
