The 2025 Garden City High School Prom date is set for March 29, 2025. Tickets are $50 through February 1, before the price increases. Ticket purchased by going to bit.ly/gchsprom2025. Use your student ID as the passcode to gain access to purchase tickets.
Seniors, although your ticket is free, you will still need to register for a ticket and get a QR code to be admitted into prom.

The USD 457 Virtual Academy had a number of students graduate from the school during the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year. The students that graduated from the school include Seniors: Vielman Acevedo-Cuevas, Monserrat Aguilera-Jimenez, Kimberly Alexander, Sean Allen, Kassandra Carmona, Isaiah Garcia, Deja Hernandez, Dianey Herrera, Angelina Leeper, Ja’Lonnay Lewis (Honors), Ashley Minero-Magana, Danna Morales, Leo Morales-Osorio, Dora Peck (Honors), Jadin Perkins, Anthony Pichardo (Honors), and Devan Soukup. A free developmental screening clinic for 3-5 year old Garden City residents will be held on Friday, January 10. It will be at Garfield Early Childhood Center. Appointments can be made by calling 620-805-7500.

Georgia Matthews Elementary School received a donation from Golden Plains Credit Union for $5,000 on Friday, December 20th. The donation was to help support the school in enhancing the learning environment in the classrooms. https://www.gckschools.com/article/1938483
