A free developmental screening clinic for 3-5 year old Garden City residents will be held on Friday, January 10. It will be at Garfield Early Childhood Center. Appointments can be made by calling 620-805-7500.

Garden City Public Schools will be on winter vacation Monday, December 23 – Tuesday, January 7, 2025. All district facilities will be closed for the holiday break from Monday, December 23 - Wednesday, January 1, 2025. School resumes Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

The Garden City High School choir will present a concert on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at the school.

Kenneth Henderson Middle School Cheerleading Team will hold a fundraiser in partnership with Applebee's today, December 17. Twenty-five percent of all your order will go to support the school. Thank you for your support!

Florence Wilson Elementary School will present a third grade music program on Monday. Mrs. Munoz’s class will present at 5:30 p.m., Mrs. Contreras’s class will perform at 6:15 p.m. and Mrs. Foster’s class will present at 7:00 p.m. The programs will be held in the gym.

There will be a middle school orchestra concert on Monday at 6:00 p.m. in Clifford Hope Auditorium at Horace Good Middle School.
