Garden City High School hosted "Snacks and Apps" on Thursday in the GCHS Library. Students applied for scholarships to support their continuing education after high school. Snacks were provided during the event.

The Kenneth Henderson Middle School Music Department is out visiting and performing at schools around the district today.

Charles Stones Intermediate Center will hold a fundraiser in partnership with Freddy's tonight, February 24. Fifteen percent of all sales from 5:00-9:00 p.m. will go back to the school. Thank you for your support!

Bryson Workman (10th grade) competed at the KSHSAA State Piano contest in Wichita on Saturday, February 22. He received a 1 rating at the competition.

Garden City High School is hosting the 6A West Boys Wrestling Regionals on Friday and Saturday. This is a KSHSAA event – No passes will be honored for admission.

There will be no school for Garden City Public Schools on Friday. There is a teacher inservice in the morning and a workday in the afternoon. The district offices and facilities will be open with regular business hours on Friday. Classes will resume on Monday, February 24, 2025.

Garden City Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, February 20th, due to dangerously low temperatures and wind chills. The safety of our students and staff always comes first, and with extreme cold in the forecast, it is simply too dangerous for travel and outdoor exposure. There will be no school on Friday, February 21st, for a teacher inservice and workday.
