National School Nurse Day is May 7. School nurses play a critical role in supporting the health, wellness, and academic success of students. The GCHS Art Department competed at FHSU in the 50th annual High School Art Day. Garden City High School students took home 47 merit awards for their work.
Cesar Morales Gomez, “Is to Perform” Charcoal, took Best of Show.
He will receive a $1,000 Field scholarship to attend FHSU, majoring in Art and Design.
The instructors from Garden City will receive a $200 Blick Art Materials gift certificate to purchase art materials for their program.
Due to the forecasted weather USD 457 Transportation will be running Mud Routes for Tuesday May 6th.
