There will be a 6th grade band instrument rental night on Thursday at Charles Stones Intermediate Center from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. This is a great time to learn about the Band program at the school.

GCHS football players were at Alta Brown Elementary School this morning greeting students and giving high fives. They also participated in activities with the students to get the school day started .

Kenneth Henderson Middle School volleyball team will hold a fundraiser in partnership with Freddy's tonight, August 27. Fifteen percent of all sales from 5:00-9:00 p.m. will go back to the team. Thank you for your support!

The GCHS Drama Department has announced its 2024-2025 Season. The season begins with "Eclipsed", October 4th-6th. The second production is "The Skin of Our Teeth", November 15th-17th. USD 457 Transportation bus driver, Sue Myers, (center orange shirt) retired today after 37 years of dedicated service in working to get students transported safely to and from school.

The annual Buffalo Buddies night was well attended by 2nd - 6th grade boys and girls. The students interacted with the players and coaches as they put the kids through some drills.
